St. Jude 2009 Thanks and Giving® Campaign
We are excited to have participated in the 2009 Thanks and Giving® campaign to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The national campaign was an unprecedented union of celebrities, media, retail and corporate partners. Thanks and Giving asked consumers to “Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not.” Providing our support and commitment will help lead to lifesaving cures for desperately ill children in communities everywhere.
From October31 - December 31, our customers were asked to help in the fight against childhood diseases by purchasing a Thanks and Giving® Pinup for $1, with all proceeds going directly to St. Jude. The vibrant green pinup reflects both holidays and health, and the iconic magnifying glass represents St. Jude's tireless search for breakthrough discoveries. We encouraged our guests to donate and then our theatres displayed the Pinups with the patron's name in our theatre lobby throughout the campaign.
